Accessing Different Areas

On ChurchWorks, each section (like people, church, finance, etc) have permissions that can be set from the Church > Manage roles page.
A role contains all of the permission levels for different areas. Adjust the slider to change the level of access.

Roles can be assigned to teams. To assign a role to a team, go to the Find a team page, click on a team you wish to edit, click on the green More button, and then click on Edit team roles.

Next click on the green More button, then click on Apply role. Select the role you wish to add, then click on Add role.

A team can have multiple roles, in case you wish to have different roles which target specific areas.

If you find you cannot access a page or feature it is most likely:
  • Your team doesn't have permissions to access it.
  • You are not in the team with the correct permissions.
  • Your team doesn't have the correct roles.
